I liked anime for a long time now. And recently I have been thinking I have NEVER been to an anime convention. So the next time they have one in NC, there is only one but I forget when it is, I want to go. I also want to cosplay, but the thing is I have never made a costume and I don't wanna buy one. If you have any advice to help me please HELP ME! Any advice will do, from how ro pick who you want to cosplay to what fabric to use, and best way to measure. Anything at all will help.

Anime conventions are really fun. As far as picking a character to cosplay, you should choose a character you really like. Something you would enjoy dressing up as and posing like them.

Thanks for the advice. I have already decided on one character I am going to cosplay but the others I'm not sure yet. Since this is the first time I am trying something like this I'm starting now even though the convention isn't until May. Hopefully I will have decent costumes by then.
